ZAGREB, Nov.26 (Hina) – As Zagreb prepares for this year’s Christmas market, the New York Times this week published an article on fashion accessories and designers in the Croatian capital, the Croatian capital reported on Friday. Zagreb City Tourist Office.
The article was written by Kristin Vuković, showcasing original fashion accessories such as tie, handmade bags, hats and umbrellas and Croatian fashion brands and designers including Croata, Etno Butik Mara, Kobali hats, Cerovečki umbrellas and the silversmith Mario Nokaj.

The Tourist Board said the New York Times is one of the most popular dailies in the United States and that it works with it to promote the Croatian capital.
Asked by Hina if everything was ready for the opening tomorrow of the Christmas market, known as Advent Zagreb, the Tourist Board said preparations were going according to plan and most of it was ready.
The Zagreb Advent opening begins on November 27 with the flash of the first Advent candle on the historic Manduševac fountain in the main square Trg Bana Jelačića. The event will take place in several downtown locations until January 6, 2022.
The Tourist Board hopes this year’s Christmas market will attract many local and foreign tourists despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
As of 25 October this year, Zagreb had been visited by around 555,000 tourists, which generated 1.2 million overnight stays, an increase of 69% and 63% respectively compared to the same period in 2020. Compared to the he pre-pandemic record year 2019, overnight stays this year reached 52% of the 2019 figure.
